I hate the crowds, the pushing and all the bullshit that goes with christmas shopping. for me though, its an evil I have to accomplish.

I do 99% of my shopping online.
Me and da Mrs. decided we went overboard last year with gifts, so we are saving our money, and just hanging out and enjoying free time to do whatever we want.
If you think too much about the origin of Christmas, you wouldn't want to celebrate anyway. Meaning Christams is nothing more than a Pagan holiday hijacked by the Christians...with a Coca-Cola representative handing out presents?!?
try working at a place with huge crowds
it sucks ass big time
people think this holiday is just for them
The concept of buying gifts for people just because it's Christmas bothers me. My parents did a cool thing a few years ago and just said, "Look, we have enough stuff and we don't really need anything more...please don't buy us anymore gifts and just show up for dinner and conversation". I thought it was a great idea but my stupid petty sister-in-laws keep buying them gifts which makes us all look bad!
At this point in time, my wife and I don't get each other anything for Christmas. We just buy for the kids. I should take it a step further and start doing more for the disadvantaged. That is more in the spirit of Christmas in my mind.
I buy and give things all year long. I get flowers for my wife just because, not because I did something wrong. Figures I get on my own.
Right now, I would probably be hunting some figures, but with everything in boxes, and not up on the wall MIP, or open & displayed.... ah hell, I just feel all fucked up, I've been down lately too.
I like Andyman's idea...helping the disadvantaged. problem is I'm too damn selfish. Oh well.
I buy my wife presents because I feel like it, not because there's a day I have to. 2 month's ago I bought and installed XM radio in her car, just for the hell of it.
I'll always buy stuff for my friends if I'm in a store and see something they would like. Good thing that's a short list of people.
I need to start giving classes on intimidation...shoving? Rudeness? I don't experience these things...well, occasionally, but those people learn better right quick. You people need to get hella meaner if others are treating you like that.
